Yu Hou received his BS degree in Construction Management from the China University of Mining and Technology in 2014, MS degree in Civil and Construction Management in 2017, MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 2020, and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2021. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Construction Management at Western New England University, where he leads research in unmanned aircraft systems (UASs), building energy audits, digital twins, computer vision, and immersive training technologies for sustainable and resilient built environments.

Dr. Jiali Huang is an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management at Western New England University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2023. Prior to that, she received a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Shandong University, China. Her current research interests are in human factors, human-machine interaction, and neuroergonomics.
